What are some signs that a dwarf hamster is sick?

 if you spot that your new hamster is particularly apathetic and/or looking “ruffled” or “unkempt”, you may want to consider taking them to an experienced vet as those may well be the first signs that something is seriously wrong, and you may just be in time to save your little friend’s life.

In very young hamsters, the immune system is not yet fully developed, so they are more prone to getting sick than slightly older individuals.
